Bayi (Kham, Eastern Tibet)

Bayi is a large Han Chinese military town. It is not an interesting town, but a good base to visit its neighboring attractions. Interesting thing about Eastern Tibet is that it is very different from the rest of Tibet in terms of geography, climate, flora and fauna. According to the LP, some of the sceneries resemble the Swiss Alps... you be the judge!

Is this your typical impression of Tibet?
