Pomda (Kham, Eastern Tibet)

The following photos were taken near the region of Pomda, near the border of Tibet-Yunnan. It was great traveling in this region, as it is still quite unexplored, hence, it's less "tarnished" by tourists. In fact, we seldom see any other tourist along the way.

My favourite Wa-Village. A peaceful and idyllic village.

Kids at the Wa-Village. Photos were taken from the Jeep.

Scenery along the way...

Another Beautiful Village.

Lush of Grass

Valley

It's a great pleasure meeting the curious Tibetan villagers (And I meant it). Zhang Wei was taking close-up photos and distributing stationary to the kids. Lastly, a group photo!!!

One of the most colourful landscape!!!

Rainbow over the Chorten...

Beautiful Tibetan Lady

This little girl immediately caught my attention when I saw her beautiful eyes!

Another COOL Village.... Another GREAT Group Photo!

Prayer flags at 5081m, the highest elevation of my trip.

Bye Tibet!!! Next destination, Yunnan... in search of the mythical "Shangri-la"...
